The project covers all parts of the development of a computer game:
We provide our Scape game engine to be used for this project. The game code can be written in either C++, Lua or Python.
The objective is to create a complete, polished game which is fully playable when the project is finished. Thus we have selected a few game ideas which are very straightforward, and have manageable scope. This way, participants will be able to focus on important aspects of game design and implementation. Each game is to be created by a small team of students (max. 3 per team).
Game components such as multiplayer, artificial enemy intelligence, online highscores, etc. are optional and can be implemented if there is time. Grades will be given on quality of implementation first, and amount of features second.
Of course, the screenshots below are just for illustration. You are encouraged to develop your own style and theme for graphics and sound, you just have to adhere to the given game genre.

The preliminary meeting is currently planned for Oct. 20th, 14:00.
We will discuss details of the project there.
